Costs and Reimbursements

When you care about your health, you should ask yourself what the costs will be if you would like to start a treatment with me.
As a non-medical practitioner, I am committed to medical necessity and not to monetary criteria.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please check with your health insurance company before your first appointment to find out what reimbursement conditions apply to you.

All osteopathic, homeopathic / naturopathic and psychotherapeutic services are strictly private services.

Wherever possible, I charge according to the scale of fees for alternative practitioners. In all other respects, payment settlement is by agreement (for cash payers).

This means that I invoice you for my services and you pay the amount due directly to me. Afterwards you should submit my invoice to your insurance company and receive a refund where applicable. Then you submit my bill to your insurance carrier and receive a refund, if applicable.

The billing is done to the best of our knowledge and belief. Should there be any reason for an objection, please contact me immediately so that any deadlines regarding your health insurance can be met. My services will be settled in cash immediately after treatment. You will receive from me a receipt and – if desired – a detailed breakdown of the charges by post.

I calculate my benefits for cash payers as follows:

For an osteopathic treatment of over 45 minutes, I charge 90 Euros – for adults and children over 4 years of age.

A comprehensive initial consultation with osteopathic treatment, I charge 120 Euros. This usually requires a duration of about 1 ¼ hours.

Osteopathic treatment for infants and toddlers up to the age of 3 years, I charge 80 Euros.

Homoeopathic / naturopathic consultations cost 60 Euros.

Depending on the effort involved, invoicing is done in accordance with the German scale of fees for alternative practitioners (Gebührenordnung für Heilpraktiker, GebüH).

You can cancel appointments up to 24 hours in advance. For short-term cancellations or appointments not cancelled, I charge a cancellation fee according to § 615 BGB. The cancellation fee is 40.00 Euros.

I am a member of the BAO (Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft Osteopathie) and a member of the Verband der Freien Heilpraktiker.

Please note: All my services are strictly private services.

I, as a practitioner can not guarantee that the medical practitioner services or osteopathic treatments will be reimbursed in whole or in part by your insurance provider. As a matter of principle, I assume that you will bear the therapy costs yourself. The agreed fee must be paid in full regardless of a refund. Statutory health insurance companies do not generally reimburse alternative practitioners.

Some insurance companies make additional payments for osteopathic treatments. The following statements are for your guidance and are therefore not exhaustive:

STATUATORY HEALTH INSURANCE

Some health insurance companies subsidize osteopathic treatments.
However, you often need a medical letter confirming the “need for osteopathic treatment”.

This letter has no relevance for my treatment, so you do NOT need to bring it to me. As a naturopath I am allowed to treat patients in the first consultation and, unlike physiotherapists, I am not dependent on the referral of a doctor. Apart from that, I believe that, as a patient, you can best assess whether osteopathic treatment is necessary for you. In my opinion, no one has to attest to this.

If you wish to claim reimbursement from your health insurance company, please take care of issuing this certificate in advance.
The invoice will be dated on the day the treatment took place.

PRIVATE, FULL, OR SUPPLEMENTARY INSURANCE

If naturopathic practitioner benefits are included in your plan, reimbursement by your health insurer is possible.

As a rule, my reimbursement rates are below the maximum rates from the List of Fees for Alternative Practitioners (GeBüH), but exceed the subsidy rates. If you would like to know exactly for which numbers I charge which amount, please contact me personally.
